Selma Schimmel Vital Grant is dedicated to supporting individuals in Douglas, AK, who are grappling with the financial strain brought on by a chronic, terminal, or rare medical condition, including illnesses like cancer, Parkinson’s, and Huntington's Disease. Our program offers critical assistance to help alleviate some of this burden, providing either utility assistance or grocery assistance to those in need. By partnering with other organizations, we strive to connect our recipients with additional resources that can further aid in their time of hardship, creating a supportive network for our community during their most challenging moments.
