In Emmonak, Alaska, the Women, Infants and Children Supplemental Food Program (WIC) is dedicated to ensuring that low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and young children up to five years old, have access to essential nutrition and support. Through a combination of nutrition education, nutritious food provisions, breastfeeding education, and vital referrals to additional services, WIC fosters healthy food habits and empowers families to thrive.
