Based in Emmonak, AK, we understand the challenges of accessing specialized care, which is why we offer assistance of up to $800 annually per patient to help cover essential travel expenses. This can include airfare or train tickets, ground transportation, lodging, meals, and even necessary co-pays for doctor visits or medical tests that insurance may not cover. To ensure patients aren't alone on their journeys, we allow grantees to travel with one companion using the fund. Our mission is to alleviate the burden of travel costs so that PNH patients can seek the care they need and connect with specialists for vital support.
