Located in Girdwood, AK, CORE is dedicated to providing financial assistance for families working in the restaurant industry who are facing hardships due to illness or medical emergencies. We understand the unique challenges that food and beverage service employees encounter, especially those with children. Our program offers vital support by covering expenses such as rent or mortgage, utilities, funeral costs, medical bills, therapy, and essential child needs like diapers, formula, and childcare expenses. Former grant recipients can reapply for assistance after 12 months if they face new qualifying circumstances or ongoing conditions. However, each family is eligible for a maximum lifetime support of $7,500. Our mission is to ensure that families in the restaurant workforce have the resources they need to navigate tough times with dignity and care.
