The American Children's Cancer Benevolence Fund (ACCBF) is committed to supporting families facing the challenges of childhood cancer in Hoonah, AK. Our Grant Program provides essential financial assistance to families with a child battling cancer and to cancer survivors within four years of remission. We address critical needs such as housing costs, living expenses, utility payments, food, medical treatment, prescriptions, transportation to medical appointments, and even funeral expenses when necessary. Each request for assistance is considered individually, ensuring that help is directed where it is most needed, based on available resources and specific circumstances outlined in the Benevolence Request Application. We strive to alleviate some of the financial burdens families encounter, allowing them to focus on what matters most—the health and well-being of their child.
