The Elders Program in JBER, AK, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors within the community by providing comprehensive assistance tailored to their basic needs and well-being. Our services include caregiver training, case management, access to durable medical equipment, and consumer-directed personal care assistance. We focus on fostering a supportive environment through respite services, injury prevention education, and essential Medicare and Medicaid assistance. The program also offers the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), monthly food boxes, community teas and potlucks, transportation services in the Anchorage area, and advocacy for elder rights. We are committed to empowering older adults with essential resources and training in mental health first aid to ensure they lead fulfilling lives in their later years.
