Located in King Salmon, AK, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Each year, we aim to screen all Veterans receiving care in VA facilities for obesity, ensuring they are connected to effective weight management options tailored to their individual needs and preferences. Our program includes a variety of care choices such as group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which allows Veterans to engage from the comfort of their homes with clinician support. For those seeking a more independent approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app offers convenient tools to track progress. Additionally, for Veterans facing persistent challenges with overweight or weight-related issues, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery options.
