The Selma Schimmel Vital Grant is dedicated to supporting individuals in Nome, AK, who are experiencing significant financial hardships due to chronic, terminal, or rare conditions, including but not limited to cancer, Parkinson's, and Huntington's Disease. Our program provides essential utility and grocery assistance to help mitigate the impact of these challenging health issues. While we focus on either utility or grocery support, we also collaborate with partner organizations to connect our applicants with additional resources and assistance. We understand the urgent need for practical help during these difficult times and are committed to providing compassionate support to our community.
