MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans in Noorvik, AK, by offering comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity, providing tailored referrals to various weight management options that align with individual preferences and needs. Participants can engage in group sessions, receive telephone lifestyle coaching, or utilize TeleMOVE! for in-home support, and those who prefer independent tracking can benefit from the MOVE! Coach mobile app. For Veterans facing ongoing challenges with weight, our program also offers weight loss medications and access to bariatric surgery.
