Based in Noorvik, AK, Cash Assistance, part of the Aleutian Pribilof Islands Association (APIA), is dedicated to supporting eligible tribal members who face financial hardships in meeting their essential needs for food, clothing, and shelter. Our program is designed for individuals actively participating in established work activities as outlined in their Individual Self-Sufficiency Plan (ISP). We provide practical financial assistance to tribal members from communities including Akutan, Atka, Agdaagux, Belkofski, False Pass, Nikolski, Nelson Lagoon, Pauloff Harbor, St. George, Qawalangin, Unga, and QTT, regardless of their current U.S. city of residence. To apply, eligible members can easily access applications through the APIA website and take a step towards greater self-sufficiency.
