About Elders Program

The Elders Program, part of the Alaskan Native Tribal Health Consortium, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors in North Pole, AK, through vital support services and meaningful engagement. We provide comprehensive food assistance through our Monthly Elder Food Box, alongside caregiver training and case management to address the diverse needs of our elderly community. Our program offers durable medical equipment, personal care assistant services, and respite options to ensure safety and independence. We facilitate fall and injury prevention education, as well as Medicare and Medicaid assistance, empowering our seniors with essential resources. Our community initiatives include the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), monthly gatherings such as elder teas and potlucks, transportation services in the Anchorage area, and advocacy to support the rights and well-being of older adults. With a focus on mental health, we also provide Older Adult Mental Health First Aid Training, ensuring a holistic approach to senior care and community involvement.
