MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Quinhagak, AK, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to ensure that all Veterans utilizing VA facilities receive annual screenings for obesity and are referred to appropriate weight management services tailored to their individual needs. We offer a variety of options, including supportive group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, and our innovative TeleMOVE! program for convenient in-home messaging and clinician contact. For those who prefer self-directed weight management, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, along with access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans facing ongoing challenges with overweight or related issues.
