The Alaska Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) serves the community of Scammon Bay by providing essential food assistance to low-income households in need. Through this program, eligible families receive monthly benefits via the Alaska Quest card, which can be used to purchase food items from authorized retailers across the state. The amount of support each household is eligible for depends on their income and family size, ensuring that help is tailored to individual needs.
