Located in Seward, AK, the Elders Program is dedicated to uplifting seniors by providing essential assistance and a range of vital support services. Our mission is to promote a high quality of life for community elders through comprehensive programs such as caregiver training, case management, and access to durable medical equipment. We also offer consumer-directed personal care assistant services, respite care, and education on fall and injury prevention. Our team helps navigate Medicare and Medicaid, and we encourage active participation through the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP). Monthly elder food boxes, teas, and potlucks foster community connection, while elder transportation services are available in the Anchorage area. Furthermore, we provide advocacy, resources, and specialized training in mental health first aid to ensure that our seniors are cared for and supported in every aspect of their lives.
