Located in Seward, AK, the Women, Infants, & Children (WIC) program is dedicated to fostering healthy food habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to provide essential nutrition education, offer supplemental foods, promote and support breastfeeding, and facilitate referrals for health care services. By addressing nutritional needs and ensuring families have access to healthy food, WIC plays a vital role in enhancing the well-being of women and young children in our community.
