Operation Family Fund is dedicated to providing vital financial assistance to eligible service members and their families in Thorne Bay, AK, through compassionate grant support for essential needs, medical care, home purchases, and more. We understand the challenges faced by those who have served, and our mission is to help alleviate financial pressures during difficult times. While we currently have a high number of requests for assistance and are facing funding shortages due to limited donations, our commitment to supporting our heroes remains unwavering. To qualify for grants, service-connected disability ratings must be verified by a case manager, social worker, or doctor, with applicants eligible for up to two grants, spaced at least six months apart. We look forward to continuing our efforts to assist our military families as resources allow.
