The Selma Schimmel Vital Grant serves the Yakutat, AK community by providing essential support to individuals confronting significant financial challenges due to chronic, terminal, or rare health conditions like cancer, Parkinson’s, and Huntington’s Disease. Our mission is to alleviate some of the burdens by offering critical utility assistance and grocery assistance, focusing on your most immediate needs. While this grant program covers either utility expenses or grocery costs, we also collaborate with Vital Options International and other organizations to connect individuals with additional resources and support. We are here to help you navigate these difficult times with care and compassion.
