Nutrition Services, a vital initiative of the Top of Alabama Regional Council of Governments (TARCOG), is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of seniors in Arab, AL, and the surrounding counties of De Kalb, Jackson, Limestone, Madison, and Marshall. We are committed to providing hot, nutritious meals that meet at least one-third of the daily-recommended dietary allowances for older adults, ensuring our participants receive the nourishment they need. Our program offers both home-delivered meals and dining options at local centers, welcoming all seniors to join without financial barriers; while we suggest a minimal donation of $1.25 per meal, no one is turned away due to an inability to pay. Nutrition Services is here to support our seniors with dignity, care, and a commitment to health.
