Located in Athens, AL, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to support every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities by providing comprehensive obesity screenings and personalized referrals to weight management resources. We offer a variety of treatment options tailored to individual preferences, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which allows for convenient in-home support. Veterans can also utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app for independent weight management or access weight loss medications and bariatric surgery if they need additional assistance after participating in the program.
