Nutrition Services, part of the Top of Alabama Regional Council of Governments (TARCOG), is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of seniors residing in De Kalb, Jackson, Limestone, Madison, and Marshall County, AL. Our mission is to provide essential food assistance through nutritious, hot meals that meet at least one-third of the daily-recommended dietary allowances for older adults. We also offer convenient home-delivered meals to ensure that every senior has access to sustenance. While we encourage contributions from participants, no one is ever turned away due to an inability to pay, with a minimum suggested donation of just $1.25 per meal. At Nutrition Services, we prioritize care and support for our senior community, ensuring they receive the nutrition they need to thrive.
