MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Boaz, AL, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and connected to personalized weight management services that cater to their individual needs and preferences. We offer a variety of supportive options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which allows for in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer a more autonomous approach, our MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, while Veterans who continue to face challenges with weight and related health issues can explore weight loss medications and bariatric surgery options.
