Located in Decatur, AL, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity each year and connect them with tailored weight management services that meet their individual needs and preferences. We offer a diverse range of care options including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, TeleMOVE! for convenient in-home support, and the MOVE! Coach mobile app for those who prefer a self-directed approach. For Veterans facing ongoing challenges with weight, we also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
