The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in Fayette, AL, is a supportive initiative designed for individuals who have recently received a type 2 diabetes diagnosis. We understand the challenges that come with managing this condition, which is why our program, available in both English and Spanish, offers a comprehensive, free 12-month journey towards better health. Participants can access six informative e-booklets tailored to their current needs, and a monthly e-newsletter packed with seasonal tips and vital resources to help thrive with diabetes. In addition, we provide information about local community events and a Healthy Living newsletter. Enrollees can also join our monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A series, where they can pose diabetes-related questions to ADA experts, connect with others, and learn about the critical link between diabetes and heart health. Our program is dedicated to empowering participants with the knowledge and tools they need to manage their diabetes effectively and lead healthier lives.
