Nutrition Services, part of the Top of Alabama Regional Council of Governments (TARCOG), is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of seniors in Fort Payne, AL, and surrounding areas including De Kalb, Jackson, Limestone, Madison, and Marshall County. Our mission is to provide hot, nutritious meals that meet one-third of the daily-recommended dietary allowances for older adults, ensuring that every senior has access to the sustenance they need. We offer home-delivered meals for those unable to visit our programs, and while we encourage contributions from participants, no one is ever turned away due to an inability to pay, with a minimum suggested donation of just $1.25 per meal. Together, we strive to nourish not just bodies, but spirits, fostering a caring community for our elderly residents.
