MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Gardendale, AL, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities annually for obesity and connect them with personalized weight management options that align with their unique needs and preferences. We provide a range of resources, including supportive group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and our TeleMOVE! system, which allows Veterans to receive guidance from the comfort of their homes. Additionally, the MOVE! Coach mobile app empowers those who prefer self-management, while we also offer medically supervised weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans facing ongoing challenges with obesity.
