The Seniors Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) in Gulf Shores, AL, is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of low-income seniors aged 60 and older by providing food assistance through coupons that support the purchase of fresh, nutritious foods. Administered by the Alabama Department of Agriculture & Industries, this program enables seniors to enjoy locally grown fruits, vegetables, honey, and fresh-cut herbs directly from farmers at approved farmers markets and roadside stands.
