MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Hartselle, AL, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and to connect them with personalized weight management solutions tailored to their unique needs and preferences. We offer a range of options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program, which provides in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer self-guided approaches, our MOVE! Coach mobile app allows Veterans to manage their weight independently. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who continue to face challenges despite engaging with the MOVE! program.
