Nutrition Services, part of the Top of Alabama Regional Council of Governments (TARCOG) - Area Agency on Aging, is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of seniors in Harvest, AL and surrounding counties including De Kalb, Jackson, Limestone, Madison, and Marshall. We provide hot, nutritious meals that meet at least one-third of the daily recommended dietary allowances tailored for older adults, ensuring they receive the essential nourishment they need. Our program offers home-delivered meals, allowing seniors to enjoy healthy dining in the comfort of their own homes. While we encourage contributions from participants, we firmly believe that no senior should go hungry due to financial constraints, which is why no one is turned away for an inability to pay. We suggest a minimum donation of $1.25 per meal, but we prioritize access and support for all seniors in our community.
