The Backpack Program for Students in Saraland, AL, is dedicated to combating weekend food insecurity among students. We provide nutritious meals to children at risk of food insufficiency, ensuring they have access to three balanced meals and healthy snacks during the weekends. Partnering closely with school counselors, we identify students in need and facilitate their participation in the program.
