Selma Schimmel Vital Grant, located in Tallassee, AL, provides essential financial assistance to individuals facing the daunting challenges of chronic, terminal, or rare conditions such as cancer, Parkinson’s, and Huntington’s Disease. Recognizing the anxiety that comes with significant health-related expenses, our program focuses on alleviating some of that burden through utility assistance and grocery support, ensuring that those in need can maintain their basic necessities. While the grant covers either utility costs or grocery expenses, we also collaborate with partner organizations to connect recipients with additional resources and support.
