MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Warrior, AL, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through tailored weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity each year and connect them with the most suitable weight management options that align with their individual needs and preferences. We offer a variety of services, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which features in-home messaging and clinician contact when necessary. The MOVE! Coach mobile app is also available for those who prefer a self-directed approach to weight management. Additionally, for Veterans who have participated in MOVE! but still face challenges with weight-related issues, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
