In Antioch, CA, Meals on Wheels of Contra Costa is dedicated to delivering nutritious meals to seniors who are homebound and unable to obtain or prepare healthy food for themselves. Our caring volunteers provide meal delivery five days a week, ensuring that each recipient receives meals that fulfill over one-third of their daily nutritional needs, whether hot or cold. For weekends, we offer frozen meals as a convenient alternative. Each delivery consists of seven frozen meals if space is limited on hot routes. We encourage our clients to contribute any amount they can towards the cost of their meals, allowing us to continue supporting those in need.
