MOVE! Weight Management Program in Bakersfield, CA, is dedicated to transforming the lives of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to routinely screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them with tailored weight management services. We offer a variety of options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for those who prefer at-home support. Veterans can also utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-guided weight management. For those who continue to face challenges despite these efforts, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery as part of comprehensive care.
