The Berkeley Food Pantry is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to individuals and families in need throughout Berkeley and Albany, including low-income families, single parents, senior citizens, the unemployed, disabled veterans, and the working poor. Our mission is to ensure that everyone has access to nutritious foods, and we understand that obstacles can arise, making it difficult for clients to visit us in person. We offer flexible support options including allowing clients to designate a representative to collect groceries on their behalf. During the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, we are proud to provide safe food assistance through two convenient methods: monthly home deliveries for residents of Berkeley and Albany, and in-person pick-up at our pantry. We strive to make food security accessible and supportive for all members of our community.
