Casa Segura Drop-in Center in Berkeley, CA, serves as a compassionate and secure haven for individuals who actively use injection substances, offering essential services without the burden of extensive intake procedures. Our mission is to foster health and wellbeing among this marginalized population by providing crucial resources such as shower and laundry facilities, an emergency food pantry, and minor crisis intervention counseling. Additionally, we facilitate referrals to a wide range of supportive services, including HIV and HCV counseling, testing, and treatment options available by appointment from Tuesday to Friday. Though our program is currently on pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we remain committed to supporting our community and will reopen our doors as soon as it is safe to do so.
