Rancho San Antonio's Short Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) provides trauma-informed care for court-referred male youth ages 13-18 and non-dependent minors. The program helps young men address challenging behaviors and life patterns that led to their out-of-home placement, creating opportunities for emotional healing within a supportive community environment. Using the Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC) model, Rancho San Antonio delivers individualized treatment that includes comprehensive mental health services, substance use disorder treatment, case management, and life skills training. Participants benefit from creative healing arts, recreational activities, educational support, neurofeedback, career development resources, and specialized programs like the Young Fathers Program. The STRTP focuses on helping youth develop self-regulation skills, strengthen family relationships, overcome substance use issues when present, and acquire essential life skills. Following program completion, participants can access community-based mental health aftercare services for up to one year. Through this structured approach, Rancho San Antonio creates an environment where young men can build resilience, discover hope, and establish foundations for future success.
