The Emergency Food Program in Concord, CA, is dedicated to providing vital food assistance to families in crisis through a partnership with the Contra Costa County Employment & Human Services Department. Our mission is to ensure that families have access to emergency food resources during their most challenging times. Clients of the Employment & Human Services Department can receive up to three days’ worth of food from our food pantries located in EHSD offices throughout Contra Costa County. Our services are designed to be practical and immediate, offering crucial support through referrals from social workers, allowing families to regain stability with the nourishment they need.
