Aza Tetelman is a student in an organized health care education/training program, currently pursuing a PsyD. Based in Concord, CA, Aza offers therapeutic services to adults aged 18 to 65 and elders aged 65 and over. Aza specializes in supporting individuals and couples through a range of concerns, including addiction, alcohol/drug use, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, domestic violence, grief, trauma, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Services are available in both English and Russian, and therapy can be conducted in person or via video. Aza integrates a variety of therapeutic approaches into practice, such as trauma focused therapy, person-centered therapy, strength-based therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), motivational interviewing, psychodynamic therapy, culturally sensitive therapy, emotionally focused therapy (EFT), relational therapy, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), integrative therapy, compassion-focused therapy, positive psychology, somatic therapy, and feminist therapy. Additionally, Aza provides psychological testing and evaluation.
