Located in Daly City, CA, the Community Resource Center of the YMCA is dedicated to providing essential emergency and support services to individuals and families striving for stability. Our mission is to create a safety net for San Mateo County residents facing hardships by offering food assistance, shelter placements, and emergency utility support. We focus on crisis intervention, evaluating each client's unique needs to connect them with vital resources including rental assistance to prevent evictions, emergency car repairs, and a well-stocked food pantry. Our programs also feature monthly produce distributions, holiday food events, and advocacy aimed at helping families transition to permanent housing. Additionally, we facilitate enrollments in healthcare plans and integrate mental health services for low to moderate-income families through our Youth Service Bureaus and local schools.
