FISH of West Valley Community Resource Center, rooted in the Congregational Church of Chatsworth, has been a vital support for the Downey community since 1971. As a dedicated food assistance organization, FISH goes beyond traditional food pantry services by allowing recipients to access a tailored selection of emergency food on a weekly basis, addressing the diverse needs of families. Our commitment extends to homebound individuals and seniors through our food delivery service, ensuring no one goes hungry. Beyond food, we also strive to provide comprehensive support by offering pet food, diapers, clothing, and hygiene products when available. Our resource center connects individuals with essential services such as legal assistance, safe parking, and pathways to permanent housing. Collaborating with partner organizations, including About My Father's Business for street outreach, as well as Little Angels Project and VIDA Mobile Clinic, we aim to uplift every member of our West Valley community and address the urgent needs of those experiencing homelessness.
