Located in Escondido, CA, the Southern Indian Health Council is a dedicated Native American organization focused on enhancing the physical, mental, and spiritual well-being of our American Indian community. We offer a range of vital services including transportation to health appointments, community education, outreach, informal counseling, and social support, ensuring comprehensive care for all. As patient advocates, we serve seven East County Consortium Tribal members—Barona, Campo, Ewiiaapaayp, Jamul, La Posta, Manzanita, and Viejas—as well as non-Consortium Native Americans and the broader non-Native community. We are proud to accept Medicare and Medical, reinforcing our commitment to accessible health services for everyone.
