HealthRIGHT 360's North County Serenity House Women's Program provides specialized residential treatment for women struggling with substance use disorders and mental health conditions in San Diego County. This comprehensive facility can accommodate up to 120 women and uniquely allows children under age 5 to stay with their mothers during treatment. The program features monitored detoxification services and implements trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). As part of their continuum of care, North County Serenity House offers Serenity Village, a transitional living program consisting of 8 houses where women and their young children can reside for up to two years. Each residence provides comfortable living spaces with three bedrooms and bathrooms, shared kitchen and dining areas. Residents pay rent on a sliding scale based on household income and participate in mandatory self-sufficiency classes designed to support community reintegration. The program emphasizes ongoing recovery through peer support services while women rebuild independent lives. North County Serenity House partners with Live Well San Diego and operates as part of HealthRIGHT 360's broader network of over 50 programs serving 11 California counties.
