The Diabetes Education Program (DEP) of the California Health Collaborative is dedicated to empowering the residents of Fresno, CA with essential knowledge and skills for diabetes prevention and self-management. We offer no-cost educational classes that consist of six engaging, two-hour sessions designed to help participants better understand their bodies, recognize diabetes risk factors and complications, practice meal portion control, appreciate the importance of physical activity, and maintain a healthy weight. Our mission is to create a supportive environment where community members can take proactive steps towards healthier lives and improved well-being.
