We've Got Your Back (WGYB) is a dedicated weekend nutrition program based in Fullerton, CA, that aims to tackle food insecurity among homeless children in Orange County. Partnering with the Orange County school districts and the Orange County Department of Education, WGYB identifies students experiencing homelessness under the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act and ensures they receive essential food assistance. Over the past nine years, this program has not only provided emergency food but also emphasizes nutrition education for both children and their families. Each participating child is supplied with enough nutritious food to support three to four family members through the weekend, reflecting our commitment to fostering resilience and well-being in our community.
