The Food & Commodities Program in Garden Grove, CA is dedicated to addressing food insecurity by providing essential food assistance to those in need, particularly senior citizens. Each month, we distribute USDA-provided food twice, beginning on the second Tuesday, serving approximately 1,800 seniors. Additionally, every Friday, we offer surplus commodities to families facing financial challenges, helping around 100 households each month, including about 20 senior households. Our mission is to ensure that everyone in our community has access to nutritious food to meet their basic nutritional needs.
