Center for Discovery's Granite Bay location opened in 2016 on a serene rural property designed to provide clients with access to nature's healing environment. This residential treatment facility serves female and non-binary individuals ages 16-26 who are struggling with primary eating disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Drawing on over 25 years of specialized experience, the center implements evidence-based approaches including cognitive-behavioral therapy, exposure and response prevention, dialectical behavior therapy, and therapeutic yoga. The Granite Bay facility features extensive outdoor spaces, a pool, horse barn, and putting green that support their philosophy of incorporating joyful movement into recovery. These recreational opportunities complement their structured therapeutic program, creating a comprehensive healing environment where clients can rebuild their relationship with physical activity while addressing the underlying causes of their eating disorders.
