In Hawthorne, CA, Project Chicken Soup is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to individuals in the greater Los Angeles area who are living with HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other serious illnesses. Our mission is to deliver free, nutritious, kosher meals with compassion and respect for all, regardless of faith. We prepare and distribute freshly cooked meals twice a month, offering grocery bags containing 10 meals per delivery. In addition to our meal service, we often provide supply bags filled with nonperishable food and toiletries, sourced from generous donations by community members and volunteers, as well as purchased through the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. We deliver across various neighborhoods in Los Angeles County, including Hollywood, West Hollywood, Silverlake, downtown Los Angeles, Long Beach, and more. For those outside our delivery zone, we invite individuals to visit our kitchen for meal pickups. Join us in our commitment to nourishing those in need and enhancing the well-being of our community.
