MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Hawthorne, CA, is dedicated to enhancing the health and wellbeing of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to annually screen every Veteran accessing care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them with tailored weight management options that respect their individual needs and preferences. The MOVE! program offers a wide range of services including group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for in-home support. For those who prefer to self-manage their weight, the MOVE! Coach mobile app provides valuable resources. Additionally, we offer weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who may need further assistance after participating in our program.
