At Our Space Community Center in Hayward, CA, we offer a welcoming and safe haven for LGBTQIA+ youth aged 13-24 in Alameda County. Our mission is to ensure that every young person can truly express their authentic selves while feeling seen, accepted, and celebrated. We provide essential services such as a supportive food pantry, gender-affirming clothing closet, access to support groups, and internet resources. In response to the challenges presented by Covid-19, we have adapted our services to include individual phone support and group Zoom sessions, ensuring continued connection and assistance. Our Space is committed to aiding homeless LGBTQIA+ youth through vital housing and food assistance programs, fostering community and resilience for those who need it most.
