Our Space Community Center is a welcoming haven for LGBTQIA+ youth aged 13-24 in Hayward, CA, dedicated to fostering an environment where every individual can express their true selves without fear of judgment. Through our various programs, we offer vital food assistance, including a dedicated food pantry, supportive community events, and essential resources like a gender-affirming clothing closet. In addition to these services, we provide crucial support groups and internet access to ensure our youth stay connected and empowered. As we adapt to the changing landscape brought on by Covid-19, we remain committed to providing support through individualized phone and Zoom sessions, while also addressing the urgent needs of homeless LGBTQIA+ youth with ongoing housing and food assistance. Together, we celebrate diversity and ensure that every young person feels seen, accepted, and valued.
